Should a fire or barbeque be seen in a park or open space in Wandsworth the matter should be reported to the Parks Police immediately on telephone:- 020 8871 7532 | Barbeques
and open fires are not permitted in the parks and open spaces of the London
Borough of Wandsworth. Heat from the fire or barbeques, particularly the small disposable tray type damage the grass severely and this damage is difficult to repair. The Parks Police take robust action where a fire or barbeque is detected and this action may result in the person responsible for the barbeque/fire being reported for prosecution. |
